Sam Cares Holds 4th Annual Collection Drive for Home of the Innocents

More than four years ago, Sam Aguiar started Sam Cares with one vision in mind—to create a positive impact on the lives of those in our community and beyond. Since its inception, we’ve supported a number of local and regional organizations, all doing great work. Home of the Innocents is an organization close to our hearts and our practice, which is why we’re proud to have recently hosted our 4th annual holiday collection drive for the organization.

From community services to residential programs, Home of the Innocents has been helping Louisville’s most at-risk and vulnerable citizens since 1880. At Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers, we’re proud to add to that rich tradition by supporting Home of the Innocents every year through a collection drive.

In 2016 and years past, we’ve helped collect vital items for folks in our community, such as:

  • underwear (all sizes, children and adult)
  • jackets and hoodies (all sizes, children and adult)
  • white t-shirts and tank tops (all sizes, children and adult)
  • bath towels
  • wash cloths
  • blankets and comforters (twin XL only)
  • seasonal clothing (teen, adult and plus size)
  • hair brushes and wide tooth combs
  • socks (all sizes, infant to adult)
  • tennis shoes (all sizes, children and adult)

Although we’d love for you to contribute to this effort in 2017, you don’t have to wait until our annual drive to support the work this incredible organization does for our community. You can donate items or offer financial support anytime by visiting the Home of the Innocents website or by stopping by their location on Market Street, just a couple of blocks away from our offices.
