SAM CARES ABOUT OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY
At Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers, we launched Sam Cares to help create a positive impact on the lives of people throughout Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. Since 2011, Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers has donated more than half a million dollars and thousands of volunteer hours to charitable causes and organizations throughout Louisville and Kentucky communities.
WE’RE NOT AFRAID OF A LITTLE COLD WATER
Our team took part in the ALS Challenge—also known as the Ice Bucket Challenge—to promote awareness and support for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, ALS is a progressive disease that affects the spinal cord, as well as nerves in the brain. Scientists are still unsure of the exact cause of ALS and there is currently no cure, but thanks in part to increased awareness and donations (including those inspired by the Ice Bucket Challenge), researchers now know more about this disease than ever before.
We were also proud to recently participate in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. Our team braved near-freezing temps in order to help individuals with intellectual disabilities take part in athletic events, year-round training, and competitions as part of the Kentucky Special Olympics. All proceeds from the Polar Plunge go directly toward helping local Kentuckians live better, healthier, and happier lives.
